Membership of the 420 Class Association of India is open to all individuals, clubs, associations and organisations within the territories of the Indian Union who are interested in the sport, or the promotion of the sport of sailing.

Privileges of Membership
All members and member clubs shall be entitled to –
Participate in regattas, competitions, coaching camps and other events organised by the 420 CAI.
Receive all publications of the Association on such payment as may be determined by the Secretariat.
Receive notice of and to attend general body meetings of the Association.
Membership Categories and Fees
Individual Membership
Individual membership is granted to individuals above the age of 21 years.
Application Fee – Rs. 500
Annual Subscription – Rs. 2,000
Junior Membership
Persons under the age of 21 years are eligible for grant of junior membership.
Application Fee – Rs. 500
Annual Subscription – Rs. 1,000
Club Membership
This category of membership is open to all sailing clubs, associations or organisations.
Application Fee – Rs. 500
Annual Subscription – Rs. 4,000
How To Apply
Application for membership, as an individual or as a club, shall be submitted on the membership application form to the Honorary Secretary.
Steps
1) Download the membership application form.
2) Fill up the form, scan it and email it to 420sailingindia@gmail.com
3) Pay the application fee and annual subscription fee via cheque, demand draft or bank transfer. Cheque / DD must be made in the name of ‘420 Class Association of India’.

Conditions
The Executive Committee shall have full authority to accept or reject any application for membership without assigning any reasons therefore.
Individuals, clubs or other organisations elected to membership shall be deemed members of the 420 CAI only after –
(i) Their membership application has been approved.
(ii) Their entrance fee and first annual subscription have been received.
All subscriptions payable to the 420 CAI shall become due on 1st April. In the case of a new membership, the subscription shall be payable within 2 months of the election and shall cover the remainder of the current financial year.
No member or member club shall be entitled to any of the rights or privileges of membership until the subscription for that year and all arrears (if any) have been paid up to date.
The Executive Committee shall have the right to revise the rate of various fees and subscriptions.
